The Narex Premium Firmer Gouge Chisels are crafted for smooth, controlled hollowing and shaping. Each gouge tracks naturally through the grain, taking clean shavings with effortless precision while maintaining a crisp, durable edge. Designed for fine relief carving, sculpting, and shaping concave forms, these gouges combine refined geometry, comfort, and traditional Czech craftsmanship.

Each blade is forged from high-quality Cr-Mn steel and heat treated to 59 HRC for excellent edge retention and toughness. The blackened finish and tapered blade profile improve penetration and control, helping the gouge glide smoothly through the timber. Stained hornbeam handles with a round profile and brass ferrules offer excellent balance, comfort, and lasting durability.
