Brisbane Social Woodworking is a community group that started in 2002 from a Facebook page. The idea behind the page was to bring together people from the Brisbane Woodworking community in a social way. It was put together with the emphasis of getting people together face to face to build meaningful friendships.

Since then, BSW has grown to nearly 2000 members!

Brisbane Social Woodworking has grown to more then just a Facebook page. The idea behind the website is that it can become a central hub for the community to share whats happening in the woodworking world. We want to create a place where people can share blogs/writing, stories, events all in one central place without being tied to a single shop, brand or group.

To run events, prizes, givaways ect it does cost money. The idea behind the shop is that our community can purchase the things they where already planning to buy, but can do it in a way that benefits the group. Proceeds from every sale go back into the group to help maintain the site, run events, and offer prizes and giveaways throughout the year.

BSW intentionally restricts any advertising to organisations that have shown a desire to get involved with the broader community and vision of the group. If you would like to see how you can contribute to the group, please email contact@brisbanewoodworking.com.au

You have 2 options:

1: Select the postage option that suits you best and your item will be posted out within 1-2 business days.

2: Choose the pick up option, and you will be emailed with your item is ready to be collected from the location chosen at checkout. This is normally 1-2 business days.

All of the merchandise is print on demand. This means that we do not hold stock of any of the merch and it gets printed for each order. This means we have less waste and less product just sitting around! Your item will be brand new and printed just for you. This sometimes down slow down the process, so please be patient!
