16 Speed Pedestal Drill Press
16 Speed Pedestal Drill Press
This is the Carbatec heavy duty 16 speed pedestal drill press. It features easy to access opening to access the belts to quickly change to belts to get the appropriate speed for the material being drilled, and an adjustable light to allow you great visibility on your workpiece.
The large cast iron tiltable table (290mm x 290mm) will allow you to attach clamps, jigs and accessories to make drilling operations easier and safer. The table has a large winding handle, that once the tension is released, easily winds the table to the best position for the current job. Magnetic jigs, fixtures and fences are ideal for this table due to its large size and ample room to position them. The cast iron base (270mm x 440mm) is appropriately sized for a machine this size, also featuring two slots for clamping. The overall footprint is 360mm x 650mm x 1620mm.
The use of NVR switching on machine now is standard, with the switch being positioned above the chuck, within easy reach during working operations. The vertical travel levers are located just to the right of the switch, winding the chuck through the 82mm of chuck travel. The chuck has a 3mm to 16mm capacity, with the ability to drill a variety of materials using the speed range of 120 rpm to 3000 rpm.
